Doubt can be stroked in the most concrete of things. Like ivy in a sea of skyscrapers and streams of yellow taxis nosily hustling by the green manifest of doubt covering the metropolis which is your mind. If a magician defies gravity, are you sure gravity exists? If you know you did everything right but you answer doesn't match the one in the back of the book, do you not doubt your answer, the answer key? With this being said I don’t claim my word is truth, the only truth is the word of God. [Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”] John 8:31-32. All my information is what I get from the bible and faith, but it is not what everyone gets. I will be quoting more scriptures, so you can read how I came up with this conclusion. Some believe if you go to church every Sunday then you’re a good Christian. I believe just going to church every Sunday makes you a good Christian just as going to MacDonald’s every Monday makes you a Big Mac. I was told this by someone I trust highly and has a great relation with God, still I checked it out. This is one of the scriptures that conformed that statement [If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.] Romans 10:9 Notice it says and believe in your heart you have to believe in Him, not just say it let alone just hear His word.
Another place I differ from some is I don't believe He controls us He gave us free will, possible His greatest gift, so we can choose what happens to us, so when we fall to sin it's not in His plan, [“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.] Deuteronomy 30:15. He knows we are not perfect and can make anything we do fit in his plan, if you are ready to follow Him. Note If you differ from me in some aspects don't let it discourage you form looking in to my other ideas. Only God is perfect so no human is going to have it exactly right, but don't pick out the advise you like and leave the ones you don't. Hold dear the advise you believe comes from God, no matter how hard of a truth it is, but don't be obligated to take the advise you truly find isn't of God and I misinterpreted it. Be carefully in this decision analyze every believe before you accept them, even more important analyze every "false statement" before you decide it's something God doesn't want you to follow. As I said many times no one can know what God wants for other people, except what's clearly stated in the bible, like believe in Jesus Christ. Even so you know in the depth of your soul if you're doing his will, that is if you're trying to feel His greatness with your work. Many times I would write or say something I just felt was fact only latter to find the scriptures supported that. The bible is not foreign to anyone, even non-Christian's have to admit that the laws and guide line match up with humans morals and values, while Christians know that those values are His values imbedded in us. Although some stories may be unfamiliar or even unknown, they will still help your walk. [Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.] Romans 3:31 It is true faith is the most important thing in your walk, but your walk doesn't end there it merely starts there. So those you have never had the chance to hold a bible can be saved, but don't forget about the laws they help us get to heaven. Especially in today's world where sin is at your fingertips.
If you are looking to start your readings in the bible let me give you some advise that helped me out a great deal. Start in John, read carefully the bible is not something on a check list, it's better to read one passage and reflect then to speed read six passages. Make sure your understanding the message. The new testament is a more uplifting read, for it is life after Jesus came to earth, still the old testament is important, so once you have a solid platform of faith dive in to the old testament. [But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God] Matthew 4:4 Some good sources to help you are the internet biblegateway.com, an even better source is a friend you know is a Christian, but the best resource is to pray ask God to help you. [ Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done]. Philippians 4:6
