Right vs. the Wrong reasons

Note: Once again, these are my thoughts that I deal with, nonetheless I am confident that I am not the only one.

I am seeing a pattern being form because, I must break stride before I begin yet again, my last post “Why Wait?” was mainly to make sure I don’t forget those points. It has a lot of loss ends needing to be tied up which was made looser by an interruption. Sounds ironic don’t it, but it will be explained latter. For this was just for your knowledge this is not the follow up, that blog is going to be called “Why Wait 2, Lose ends” (good movie title right?). Main concern, is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, or the wrong thing for the right reason? More pressing on my mind should you do the right thing for the wrong reason? Unfortunately I think my insight will stay near the surface this time, this is my newest dilemma I am dealing with. Unlike many of my other points I have not talked this point out yet. Btb (by the by) talking stuff out to someone you trust is very helpful, even more so if you have multiple conversations peer as well as an older person. Notice how I said I have not talked this point out YET. Which leads me to another future blog taking your own advice, anyways I am going to try to stay on subject I wrote those points along with others down to talk about on another blogs.

Doesn’t it suck when you start something great with even better intention, then your motives turn selfish or a different sinful motive? You think about why you started it and what good it has/may done/do(if you’re an analyzer as I am esp.). Then you may want to get praise more then you want your original intention. I specifically pulled out selfish for I find it the easiest temptation the devil can present when you are doing the good will of God. Satan compliments you to appeal to your vanity. **(See foot note)** Another more discouraging than depressing event is when you want to begin something for the wrong reason. Then you wonder is the significances of the glory that was meant to be was water down or lessened. Yearning to do the right thing is no less then a step in the right direction. Knowing you’re bothered that your intentions are not pure is another step. This time I don’t have a capping personal conclusion per say, but I do have small accomplishments that give me faith that I can change from the inside out.

Disheartening as it is for your minds of minds to think of selfish animalistic rewards, in you heart of heart He is there to help you change those instincts. To truly commence your walk you must want to in your core the very center of your soul. Well I got indescribable good news, if you know it yet or not, He has put that desire in you. From the start of time mankind has had the sense to do good, conversely they also had the craving to sin. The best way I have found to release the hold the devil has is to start from the outside in. Meaning do the right thing first, don’t wait till you intentions our pure. The time when you are doubting is the time Satan is strongest. So make that first step to do good, follow through with thriving to glorify Him, not any other motives. This sounds contrary to common believe, but let me explain. He is working from the inside out, reaching for you, leaving you to reach for Him, starting on the outside working in. Obvious: if you have good intentions then of course mimic that with your actions; this advise is just for times when you fear you already contaminated your mission.

Foot Note- Another pattern of mine tons of notes/explanation, (that's a self-proving statement)(as was that one and this one). Weird writing happens aside, this is an important note. I worked on this blog at school up to the point **(see foot note)** at school before talking this problem out with someone I trust and who has help me strengthen my walk so much. I am so grateful for him/her(mentioned only by the alias of anonymous Amy), but more significantly, I am thankful to God for using Amy as His tool to help my walk. I only tell you this, and I only kept what I blogged before I talked this out, to show you how much it does help. I don't know if you noticed this or not, but before that point I had more question then I did "answers". Guys let me tell you, God will reward your faith in the most amazing of ways. Accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior is a privilege, not a free ride to a perfect life. So I am not saying if you accept Christ then your problems go away, but the burden of those problems will be lessened because they will be in the all capable hands of God. The same God that allowed us to have the choice of accepting the Savior when He sent Him to die for creatures, that without His grace would not be worthy to utter His name. Rejoice, that our Lord is one with such grace, and shout His name, may it be clear you believe, no matter what you are doing, by doing His will every chance you get.
